LIFE Detroit, the Leather Institute for Education, Detroit will be holding the Detroit Area’s Rough & Kinkfest (DARK) Weekend 6 on Friday, February 5 through Sunday February 7, 2010, at Al Matta Hall, 5121 Oakman Blvd., Dearborn, MI.

What is LIFE Detroit?
LIFE – LIFE Detroit, the Leather Institute for Education (LIFE), is a Metro-Detroit (Michigan) based discussion and presentation group that meets twice a month for the purpose of sharing knowledge with the Pansexual, Leather, BDSM and D/s community. Our planning session is the first Wednesdays of every month. Our lecture/presentation series is the third Wednesday of every month. The presentations attract all areas of the community– from newbies to seasoned veterans; men, women, transgendered, couples, gay and straight.
LIFE Detroit travels into the community, not only in Michigan, but throughout the Midwest, to bring information and provide discussion on topics of importance about our lifestyles, and to educate people on issues that affect each one of us and our Community. By utilizing a wide-range of topics and local, national, and international presenters, we bring education and experiences to the community.
In 2008, the Pantheon of Leather named LIFE Detroit the winner of the “Small Non Profit Organization of the Year” award
