Spanking & Paddling Workshop

For many guys, spanking is their first introduction to kink. Most often it happens when we’re children and it certainly isn’t consensual. For some guys it might be a coach or teacher that spanks us and we may eroticize the experience (or at least fantasize about it). In this class we learn to move past the emotional impact of the past and welcome spanking as a fun/erotic/mild-to-intense BDSM experience.

There will be step-by step demonstrations, lots of different positions to explore, and plenty of practice time. Besides spanking, participants will also have the opportunity to practice with a wide range of leather and wooden toys.

This is definitely a “hands-on” workshop. Be prepared for an energy filled day of exploration, learning and play. All participants will be expected to practice both the Top and the bottom roles.

The Spanking and Paddling Workshop starts at 1:00pm and ends by 6:00pm. Door will open 30 minutes prior to the workshop starting time. Workshop location will be e-mailed to participants when they complete the online registration process. If you want to pay at the door, please send an e-mail to PaddleDaddy to get the workshop location and a list of what you need to bring (don’t worry, it’s a very short list).

The Spanking and Paddling Workshop will be followed by a structured Dungeon Party from 8pm to 12:pm. The Dungeon Party is open to all men who have participated in any of the workshops of the 2010 BDSM Workshop Series. Doors will open at 7:30 and close promptly at 8:00pm. Once the doors are closed, PaddleDaddy will lead a process that will start the Dungeon Party and is designed to ensure that all participants in the Dungeon Party have a play partner for the evening. This is a good time to practice skills learned in the BDSM Workshop Series or even negotiate with a partner to experiment with something new. Besides whatever items the participants bring with them in their toy bags, other tools and implements (and minimal instruction) will be available for participants to try. The Dungeon Party ends at 12:00 midnight.

About the facilitator:

Al Waddell has been facilitating M4M events for 18 years, both in the Portland area and across the country. His first encounter with BDSM was in 1995 and he has been assisting and facilitating BDSM beginning and intermediate level workshops for the last 10 years across the United States. Al plays as a top and a bottom and brings the perspectives of both roles to his workshops. He is also available for private instruction and consultation.
