Saugatuck, MI – This weekend we have a great gathering of leathermen and leather clubs from all over the Midwest. The smell of a great cigar kicks off the fun Friday night poolside, with our current Mr. Campit Leather, William Sawyer. Join in the fun as we introduce our contest judges and the contestants vying for our 2nd Annual Mr. Campit Leather title.

Then join us Saturday for our infamous Mr. Campit Leather contest. The winner of the contest will receive a prize and sponsorship into the Mr. Michigan Leather contest at the Dunes Resort in September, and then hopefully move on to International Mr. Leather in Chicago in May.
We’ll also have Campit’s Leather Bazaar open all weekend for those who want to expand their collections or have last minute needs.
Mr. Michigan Leather (MML) began in 1995 as Mr. West Michigan Leather. Originally held at The Cell Bar in Grand Rapids, MML was a vehicle to select a contestant to represent Michigan at the International Mr. Leather competition, as well as an opportunity to raise funds for local charities.
Over the past ten years, the event changed its name (to Mr. Michigan Leather) and location (The Dunes Resort), but never lost its focus. As a result, MML has grown in popularity, attracting both contestants and supporters from Michigan and nationally.
Winner’s responsibility is to represent the Mr. Michigan Leather Title and Michigan’s Leather Community in a positive way and act as a leader to build and strengthen the leather/kink community.
