HIV/AIDS Resources at the National Library of Medicine

Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (also available in Spanish: CDC en español). HIV/AIDS surveillance data can be found at the CDC’s Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention. The CDC National Prevention Information Network has an extensive collection of HIV/AIDS resources and information. Information on HIV/AIDS and the workplace is also available.

AIDS Education Training Centers (AETC) National Resource Center has educational materials, reports, treatment guidelines, and more. The AETC is a division of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau.

The Centers for AIDS Research (CFAR) is a research collaboration program at the National Institutes of Health and includes a center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Division of Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (DAIDS) is part of the US Government’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). This site has information on government HIV research, meetings and conferences, and more.

ClinicalTrials.gov provides patients and members of the public easy access to information about the location of clinical trials, their designs and purposes, criteria for participation and additional disease/treatment information.
